Hi there,
I've just successfully cleaned my hard disk with WipeDisk software.
I meant to throw the PC and I throw away the recovery CD etc.
Now, my husband's PC is getting frail and as my PC has better spec than his, we starting to think about re-using it.
Could I just buy Windows 7 OS and start from scratch to revive the PC?
Please help. Thanks!
PC: HP Pavilion A6422 Desktop
intel Core 2 Duo processor E4600
RAM 3GB

Thank you for your reply. I think my PC satisfies the system requirement.
Please let me know if I could go ahead and buy the OS and install it OK?
Thanks!

I don't want to be the one responsible for you spending your money, but if you say your system meets the minimum requirements I can't see any reason why you should not go ahead and do it. Just make sure there are Windows 7 compatible drivers available for all of your hardware (including a chipset driver) before you buy it.
