I started runnIng out of room on my 320 an got a terra an half of space plus an esata dock. Partitioned the drive attached to the unit. Thought that is why it couldn't see it. I installed the bracket adapter with little issues. No instructions are with it an is a powered e sata hdd dock from computer geeks. I attached the power an the Sata cable to the board an doesnt see the drive at all.
-
Does the MBoard actually have an eSata slot onboard ?
-
No the bracket that came with it does. Which goes to USB Sata an a power molex
-
SATA ans eSATA are not the same...post a link to this "bracket"...
-
here is the dock http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=HD-DK320&cat=HDD

Does your MBoard have item # 2...or not ? ?

Dave - fair warning. If you allow him to, Ryuk will take you on a merry-go-round. He has been banned multiple times under different names for doing just what he's doing in this thread - spinning your wheels ("I'm having a problem with 'A", but maybe it's because of 'b' or 'c' - oh wait, never mind - I forgot to turn on the computer"). He starts threads and wastes the time of those who reply. It's up to you whether or not you choose to continue to respond to his posts. Personally, I avoid them like the plague.
Seem applicable here, too.

Ahhh - the Boy George approach :)
I hope you mean his 1980s approach, and not what he got jailed for in 2009?
-
Hmmm. George O'Dowd, George Michaels - you musically talented Brits named George seem to have issues. But then again, there IS Harrison ;D

But then again, there IS Harrison ;D
Not any more. Not since 2001.

I meant that he stayed of of trouble with the law - but yes, I should have said "WAS", not "IS" :)
