Title: debuging

can anyone explain debugging please? if a programe on my computer freezed it says it cant be closes and that if it is being debugged, close the debugger, however i have certiantly nmot asked for the programmme to be 'debugged' so how can i close the programme without shutting down my computer? sorry about the awfull spelling but i cant check it to correct it as i currently have a programme that refuses to close, obscuring my view!! ???

The pc in question is unsure of the script.<debug> ctrl+alt+del in win2k/winxp........brings up the task manager..

It asks for a Yes/No option.

Choose the other one.

it was the task manager that i was using to try to use to close the programme. it was windows media player that had crashed at that point but the debugging message occurs at least once a week with various programmes.
