i need to save all my emails onto a USB, how would i do that please?
-
What type of email account do you have? Webmail or POP with an email client?
If it's webmail, such as gmail, Yahoo Mail, or any email account you access via your web browser, your question doesn't make sense to me because your email resides on a email server somewhere on the Internet and can be accessed by you anywhere that you have Internet access. I guess this is the type of account you have since you mentioned your web browser, but please confirm that.
To put your email messages on a USB drive, this would normally entail having a POP email account and downloading your email to your hard drive. In this situation, you would have options for saving messages on a USB drive.

For what it is worth.
Anybody who wants to have his/her e-mail on a USB drive might think abbot a portable e-mail client. Thee are programs to run from the USB device and save e-mail on that same device.
Opera is just one of many such. Free, and it is a browser too.
Here is a short list with links
Top 5 portable e-mail clients (http://features.en.softonic.com/top-5-portable-e-mail-clients)
I would add to the list Thunderbird. It is free.
Doe this help any?

I was going to mention Thunderbird but thought I'd wait until darcomputer replies. The portable edition of Thunderbird can be downloaded from: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable

For the life of me, I can't see an issue here. You can access Hotmail via web browser. Likewise, you can access your cogeco.ca email account the same way at http://www.cogeco.ca/web/on/en/my_cogeco/. Surely, you know Hotmail can be accessed via web browser; that's the way it's normally accessed.
