I'm hoping someone can help? I have three archived chat log files in an application called Wapster AQQ Messenger. I don't recall the user name or the password for the program but I need to open the files as they contain important information from old friends. Each log file has the user name followed by the @ symbol, then the IM of choice, then a domain name but all with a file extension of .dc2
Below is an example of the file I'm trying to open.
e.g. [email protected]
Anyone help on how I might open these in a readable format?

Have you tried simply opening them in Notepad? It's worth a try, they may be encoded in a format that's not readable but it won't hurt.

Tried that but no luck - thanks
