Title: Hp printer problems

I have an Hp 3 in 1 printer. Lately it keep flashing "press enter to align cartridges."
This message keeps flashing even after pressing enter.
Any help would be appreciated.

Most alignments print out a page which then has to be either scanned by the blue led on the fly or then placed onto the scanner in which it scans the image and adjusts the print head on the axis accordingly for a home position.

Does a page print at all with paper in it and ink present?

Yes, a page prints with the black bars, blue checks and a couple of blue rectangles.
I sort of got stuck on the "copy" feature because I was trying to make a copy.
That is the problem, I can't make a photo copy.
I can however print a document.
