Title: NUMPAD 5
Post by: shouvik on October 26, 2005, 04:17:55 AM
What does numpad 5 indicates when numlock key is OFF??

Is it "dash" or "minus"?

But pressing it nothing happens.

Hi

suppose numpad 6

When Numlock key is ON if you press this it would write
"6" in a text editor.

When Numlock key is OFF if you press this key it would play the role of a right arrow.

Same thing i am asking for Numpad 5 key.

When numlock key is OFF, what will it do?

They put a #5 there because it would look silly without one.

Ok thought of a reason... I lke Fed's too, but mine is that if you are playing a game, that might be a function for something... Also for people who do a lot of mathmatical actions on their computer, the Num pad is for easy use.

I'm sure I had a flight simulator where the #5 centralised the rudder.
