Title: Help with computer build
Post by: Human_5318008 on July 22, 2014, 02:57:29 PM
I am going to build a pc for the first time from individual parts. I Have chosen pretty much everything so far, but I do need some help. Here is a list of what I have so far:
Motherboard: Asus z97 deluxe(NFC & WLC)

Thunderbolt card: Asus ThunderboltEX II/Dual

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k processor (8m cache, up to 4.40 Ghz)

RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 32 GB Kit (4x8 GB) 2400MHz Intel

Storage:  samsung MZ-7KE1T0BW SSD 850 PRO 2.5” SATA III (two of them)

Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D Black ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Optical Drive: LG 24X Internal DVD ReWritable Drive SATA

Operating system: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Power supply: Corsair RM750

Monitor: Samsung U28D590D

Keyboard: Logitech k470

Mouse: Kensington Pro Fit Full-Size Mouse USB

Speakers: M-Audio Studiophile AV 40

Media card reader: Ultra U12-40529 Aluminus 3.5" Internal Card Reader

CPU cooler: Corsair hydro series h75 liquid cooler

Sound card: Asus Essence STX II 7.1

Case fans: Cougar vortex PWM 140 (two of them)

Now that you have seen what I have chosen, I need some help choosing a graphics card. My motherboard (asus z97 deluxe as mentioned above) Has support for Nvidia's SLI technology, and four graphics cards can be connected to it, although the case I have chosen (corsair obsidian) only has room for three. I don't play videogames, so I was looking at a workstation graphics card to help with the 3d modeling and rendering, as well as photo and video editing that I do. I was looking at the Nvidia quadro k6000 graphics cards, and I want to put two of them in my pc. I just dont know if my motherboard will let me put two of them on it. I also was considering an Nvidia tesla graphics card accelerator to go along with them. What can I put with this motherboard?
