Title: One Fourth of Screen is Black

Hello! One time when I open my computer. I was surprise when I see 1/4 of my screen is black and windows lock screen appears only 3/4. I still continue to log in despite of the black screen that I see. And when my start screen begin to appear, the black screen suddenly disappear. What does it mean? Do you think it has something to do in computer graphics?

Hi halstead, I just read your post. It would help a lot if you can tell us about your computer & operating system.
How old is it?
Desktop or Laptop?
Windows 7 / vista / win 8?
How often did this happen?
