My moms monitor went out last week all of the sudden. Today when I checked it, it was really dark but does nto want to lighten up. I have switched computers to see if that would help and it is still doing the same. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix the screen???

Unless the brightness control is turned down I would say it is shot. The only question is it cheaper to repair or replace?
How old is it, what make and has it had a lot of use?
