Title: Windows 8 restart and slow turn on problem

So I have Lenovo Thinkpad s230u. Is been having some problems one in a while when I shutdown the screen it takes like 5 mins for the screen to come on again. But it DOSENT go thru the process of restarting the screen just turns on again. Then it says, "Your PC ran into a problem this cause your pc to restart. So I want to know what is making the screen shutdown for some minutes when I turn it on and how can I fix it? Thanks for your help.

It could be an issue with your power settings or even a heat problem, can you give us more information as the information you have given is vague at best.

Describe exactly what happens when your computer has been off for one hour and then you start it. Be as detailed as possible.
