Title: How many times can I re-use Windows trial?
Post by: sido1545 on April 27, 2015, 06:15:33 AM
Hello guys
I've been thinking nowadays a lot about installing Windows 8 Entreprise edition, however, I have some doubts. The trial period is 90 days long. My concern is will I be able to re-use it if I format my hard drive and re-make a USB bootable stick using the same iso file.
by re-make I mean that it is the second time of making USB bootable after my first time trial ended. I know that this post probably looks like crap, but I hope you understand my meaning.

Generally a trial period of 90 days is only intended for 90 days.

There are ways to work around this, but I cant share them here as for it defeats the EULA of the Trial to make a Trial version as an extended use.

For offline use, if it doesn't require an internet connection to function, it can be loaded as many times as you want until it expires, however any trials that require online registration in order to get the 90 days, microsofts servers will either allow consecutive activations to give you additional 90 day trials or it will state that you need to buy the OS.

What DaveLembke said is apparently true.

Perhaps Microsoft will enforce the EULA more vigorously.
