What this collaboration will bring is still vague, but there are clearly areas where the two companies can work together to make the experience better for the end user. Patrick Moorhead, principal analyst of Moor Insights & Strategy was quoted in The New York Times saying, “All this makes perfect sense to me” because, on the surface, it appears to be a win-win for both companies

Of the top of my head I would think it means Apple has suddenly acquired a huge chunk of corporate clients for hardware sales and Cisco has suddenly acquired a huge chunk of clients for mobile/hardware sales. Win + Win = Makes perfect sense. Apple isn't known for sharing though and Cisco is well established without Apple so it may get interesting.
Google is getting aggressive in going after Microsoft in the office and cloud markets. Apple pretty much guaranteed that they are also a huge player simply because Cisco is already a dominate force in corporate networking.
