Title: Huge problem

Alright, so I hit up the chat earlier to find out why my computer was acting strangely and nothing helped besides rewinding back to a earlier point.

The problems I'm having are:

The brightness refuses to change

My video games are either laggy or do not start up at all

Videos rarely work, but they do

I have tried everything possible, and the only thing that worked temporarily was the rewind. What is going on? I need my computer for work and video games and this does not help me. The problem has persisted since yesterday.

What is make/model?

Do you have the system recovery set to perform a clean installation back to factory default if needed?

Brightness control issues could be a display issue with back light failing. * If its a desktop computer a new monitor to swap out is simple. If its a laptop which I think you might have it may require the specific display or backlight ballast.

It might be monitor problem if your video card is working properly.
