Title: No signal to monitor
Post by: Corey Posthumus on November 17, 2005, 03:54:32 PM
Alright, hopefully someone out there can help me with this problem.

I have just recently cleaned out my parents computer and didnt disconnect any internal wires/cables. But when I plugged all the external cables (power supply, monitor, etc.) back up the power of the monitor was on and so was the computer, but there was no image on the screen.

I made sure the cables were all connected properly, they were, so i tried it on a different monitor, and the same thing happened.

I have no clue what happened.

Re-seat the video card firmly into it's slot.

And, check the pins on the monitor cable to make sure they are straight, unbroken and complete.

Do this with the power off and unplugged to PC and monitor.
