Post by: Geek-9pm on November 07, 2016, 01:57:10 PM
Please look at the Icon titles on the screenshot. you see have a mixed background with mostly withe. But Windows 10 did not change the titles to black, but just kept them white.

Back with Windows XP I could somehow change this if needed. But don't know how to do it in Windows 10.

So, how can you force Windows 10 to use a black font under the desktop icons?

if I recall, Text color when Drop Shadows are off are chosen based on the selected Background Color (not to be confused with the Background image, interestingly!)

The default is Black, so all text is white. You can change the desktop options to use a Solid Color, change it to White, which will change the text to black, and then select your image.
