What is the difference between DVD+RW & DVD-RW?

Also does these support CD's?

Basically, they are different recording formats, for a complete description, check somewhere like http://www.cdrinfo.com/

DVD writers typically will also write CD-R/RW media, though usually not at the same speeds as dedicated CD-R/RW drives.
