VGA has nothing to do with your soundcard.

If you donot have the appropriate sound system I suggest you donot buy a 3D sound card. Since it will not have any effect.

I have never heard of ADV. And neither did the Computerhope.com search engine.

I think you will be safe with VGA, considering that this is a very well known standard. Unless you have a different type of monitor?
