Title: Printer problem

My HP 4504 printer has gone off line and no matter what i do cannot fix it. hp are no help, I was wondering if it is a computer glitch? I am on windows 7 with Chrome browser, looking through HP forums this is a common problem, perhaps one of you experts can come up with a solution, it would need to be something out of the box as I have tried all the usual tricks ,Here's hoping. ::)

I gave up, deleted all traces of HP from my computer and bought a Canon pixma, installed it and is working fine, though it is a bit complicated.  regards
