I tried Opera browser some long time ago. When I use CCleaner, Opera shows up as one of the browsers, but I am darned if I can locate it on the pc. Does it hide itself somewhere? Is there anyway at all I can locate it and ditch it for good?
-
There may be remnants of Opera in the registry which CCleaner may be reporting to you.

I would need instructions tho, I'm not good at touching registry lol

If you want to make for you a little batch to scan and query your registry for a specific word like "opera" ::)
-
No, I need more info than that thanks.

Don't suggest registry patches here without clear info on backing up the registry no matter how good you are at batch...
Thanx.

Thanks Patio - it really isn't that important.
Thanks again.

I didn't say that i will share something that will make change to the registry, i just say to query this means read only without changing anything, so it is safe.
but anyway if the OP doesn't want it, i will not share it !
So, you can mark it as solved since the OP asked you that it is solved by him self ;)
Thank you !
