XP user.

Not all hotkeys could be registered - check their settings in Tools/Hotkeys!!!


When getting this message where do you go to find tools?

your post needs at lot more info, for this fool anyway.  :)

are you referring to keyboard shortcuts?
or do you have some program called Hotkeys?
is the middle paragraph the actual error message?

turn on computer it boots up everything ready to go except this message in middle of screen

you may be right Geek, but I'm not convinced even that is what John is referring to...

@john, perhaps a screenshot will be more explanatory.
I take it the PC still boots to Windows and you can use it fine?
Have you installed new software recently, or changed some system setting?
and feel free to elaborate as much as possible.  ;)

I just got this machine years ago it was a Dell 2400 something it came with all software previous user had on it I finally had power outage it would not start said missing hal.dll I put XP disk in and did a repair the two picture are what are running and installed.

@John,
if it is MWSnap3 and you don't require its screen capturing capabilities then go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and remove it.

The best thing to do with a Used PC is a wipe and clean install of Windows...after backing up what you may need...
