Title: Can I scroll in DOS mode?

entered ipconfig/all and it gives me more info than the screen will display--how can I read the beginning?

In answer to your q, no. you canot scroll in dos mode, unless you are in the Editor.  Try this:
ipconfig/all /p

The /p should pause it and keep it from running off the screen
