Title: Word Problems

Everytime i try to start up word i get a message saying shutdown failed last time but when i try to start it the program freezes and i can not read any pdf files online

Try using Acrobat Reader to read .pdf files. You may need to change your file associations, as I don't believe Word reads those anyway.

I give up. What won't start? Word? Can you reinstall the software and see if that fixes it? If not, you may have to uninstall and then reinstall.

The pdf part is still confusing.

Don't forget to install updates and Service Packs.

Is that one problem or two problem?
One problem: Cannot open pdf file with Word
Two problem: Cannot start Word + Cannot read pdf file with IE
