Title: USB Driver

Am new to computers and have just bought a Laptop which worked perfectly, when I came to use the USB Port it did not work checked in System files and tried to update driver. I know get the error message problems with the NTKERN.vxd device loader. Any help in resolving this problem would be much appreciated.

What operating system is on the lappy and what exactly is the error message

Many thanks for answering, the operating system is Windows 98 and the error message that I receive states the following.

A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:CO26B3D1 in VXD.NTKERN (06) + 000005E1. The current application will be terminated.

Any help or suggestions you could give would be much appreciated.

And you just google for the " A fatal exception OE has occured " and you'll get bunch of useful links. This is really famous problem...
