Is it possible to have two operating systems by means of a partitioned disc drive. I'd like to have Win 7 on one partition with Win 10 on another. If it is possible how would I switch between partitions and how can I make one partition bootable say Win 7?
Thanks.

I have XP and Windows 8 on my computer. When it boots you have designate which OS you want to start.

It's called dual boot. If you have a computer with Windows 7 already installed and you install a newer OS (such as Win 10) on it, one of the install options will be to dual boot the older Os and the newer OS.

I would highly advise not to have them on the same HDD...the cleanest method is seperate HDD;s and as mentioned above at boot you choose which HDD/OS to boot to.
Note : When you are setting this up disconnect the existing Win HDD and install to the other HDD...
Otherwise you'll have a clusterfuge
