Title: MSPaint-area select scroll off screen?
Post by: gilh on February 08, 2006, 08:17:16 AM
:-?  Is it possible in MS Paint to select an area to copy that extends off the displayed area?
I've tried SHIFT CNTL and ALT with no success.
Since you can't zoom to less than 100% I don't see a way to copy large areas other than multiple cut and pastes.

Any ideas?

I've had this problem loads of times and have not yet found a way to do it - it's daft because on some applications you can!

sorry that this isn't what u wanted to hear, hope there is someone out there better qualified than me!  for the time being, it's drag the mouse I'm afraid!

You can reduce the image to less than 100% of it's original size.  Try using Stretch/Skew, under Image.  Change the percentage figure for Horizontal and Vertical, under Stretch.
