Google "TP-Link WIFI Booster" and find this gets lots of hits.
He is a review from CNET that favors TP-Link over others.

I have some TP-Link things and think such are good.
The WI-FI booster sits into a standard wall plug and hes two small antennas.
What I like most is the price. Under $15 for a used and conditioned unit.
It does the job. :)

I have bought a few of these over the last few years to replace the built-in Wifi receiver on laptops a little too far away from my router. It made a HUGE difference and it's not a booster/repeater/extender so there is no loss in speeds. It's just a stronger receiver signal.

I also bought one of these to get the signal a little higher in the air and unobstructed.
