Title: csm has screwed up systhem
Post by: Novel8 on May 12, 2023, 01:03:14 PM
csm in bios was disabled in order to install win 10 via ssd drive. ....now i can't boot my system or get back to the bios, to undo csm back to enable. MB manual of MB ausus A88x-pro says to push Direct Key to go directly to Bios, but it doesnt work.

this might help https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/csm-support-bios.html

Seems on your Asus motherboard to access the Bios you use f2 + Delete keys instead of a single key.

Yes, i know about that link and about clicking Delete and/othose werdoesr the F2 buttons...but they only work when u can get into Bios. The MB says dircect key button on the MB itself would get u into Bios...and i tried that and it did not work.

Seems the simple answer turned out to be to remove the cmos battery and my Bios went straight to default.
