HI I've been an idiot and have some how deleted the subject column in my outlook programe and don't know how to get it back, so have to wade through loads of SPAM before getting to the legit emails, I have looked all through the options but can't find it, can anyone please offer some help, many thanks

Which operating system are you using? Have you tried running a System Restoration?

On this one is just XP home, and yes tried a system restoration, I'm actually think ing of just reinstalling Outlook on it, but the aprehension was loosing all the emails as there are lotsof sub folders.. Unless you can think of anything else? It's so frustrating I've literally been through every drop down menu and all options...

Right click on the bar showing the column titles and select Customize Current View. Click on Fields and select Subject from the list under Available Fileds. Click on Add.

Thanks a lot worked a treat, obviously hadn't been through all he menu's...
