Title: laptop power issues

I have a laptop (compaq presario 2199us) that will sometimes turn off automaticly and then when i try to restart it it will turn off, but eventually restart. the first time it turned off automaticly it was a month ago but i just turned it back on and it worked fine until yesterday when it turned off and made me restart it a few times be3fore it turned on, also it did it this morning again. what is wrong with my laptop?

Do you have it set to turn off after a certain amount of time? (Right-click on desktop -> Properties -> Screen Saver -> Power)
