Can anyone help me with getting some RAM. I have been looking at newegg.com and I found the ones that are compatible with my system but I really don't know which one to get so can someone please help me choose some? Btw I don't know if the voltage matters in it working with your comp or not so these sticks are many different voltages. Also yes these are also the sticks I WANT to choose from(meaning that I WANT 2 512 sticks)
P.S. The sticks the scanner thing said are compatible with my computer were all 2.5 or 2.6 voltages so I have two different pages, one is all voltages and the other is 2.6.
P.P.S. I don't know what Cas latency is either so any help with that would be appreciated.
Here is the page with all voltages: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170147+1052407862+1052308476+1052607869&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=147
And here is the page with just 2.6: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170147+1052407862+1052308476+1052607869+1259916290&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=147

I thought this might help also. This is the page of results from the computer specs scanner thing: http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.asp?id=042AF90331D926C3&tabid=&pagename=
Also I wanted to add that I am planning on replacing the 256 stick that is currently in there. So please just help me choose a product from the two newegg pages I linked (NOTHING ELSE PLEASE)

Well I think I know what kind I need BUT I have no clue out of all the choices what one is good or which one to get.....
Anyways I really don't know anything about the RAM I have installed except for what it says on the stick. And it says DDR 400 PC3200 So I looked under that category on newegg.com and then I looked under Non-ECC and those are the cards I assumed were compatible. And I was looking at the report from that system scanner thing and all the PC 3200 cards compatible with my comp are all 2.6 volts and 3 Cas latency. So now I am looking at all cards on newegg that meet those specs and this is the page I am looking at right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2010170147+1052407862+1052308476+1052607869+1259916290+1052507867&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=147
So actually can you tell me if I did the right thing by narrowing it down to that category by looking at my system specs, or did I do the wrong thing by just assuming that because OTHER stuff says that that it means my comp is compatible with it? Anyways I guess if I did the right stuff can you help me choose a product from the page I linked to in this post.
Also I never really answered your question.... So what exactly do you want me to answer?

Jack_Danger.......
Crucial recommends this 184-pin DIMM DDR PC2700 module, or you can view the full list of upgrades compatible with your Standard Dell Dimension 2400 Series.
Details
512MB—CT323834
DDR PC2700
CL=2.5
NON-ECC
Why wouldnt you go with this type of Ram ? or have I missed something .

Well I am looking for two 512 sticks so I can have a gig of RAM. And Crucial didn't recomend any sets of two sticks because I only have two slots for RAM and one of them is already being used by the stick that I have currently(Which I am trying to replace)

Jack_Danger...... Does all the info provided by the crucial.com agree with your pc ? Is it a dell 2400 serries.
It is the mobo that determines which type of ran is required

If your asking if all the information attained from the scan looks correct then yes.
