Title: Windows 95 problems booting system
Post by: tmatthias on May 04, 2006, 11:41:36 AM
My Dad has a Tiger computer that has Win95 installed on it.  When he tried to boot the computer yesterday he got the message "invalid disk, replace and then hit any key".  At the time, he did have a CD in and I told him to remove it and try to reboot.  He removed the CD and tried to reboot, but still got the same message.  I tried turning the system off, checked to make sure there wasn't a disk in the drive, nothing works.  My father is 75 and only uses the system for playing online solitaire...so I am trying to figure out what could be wrong without taking it in to be checked by someone else.  Any ideas what could be wrong?

I did check the floppy drive and there wasn't anything in there.
