I was attempting to install visio on my laptop with a program free from the college and when I went to enter the set up. my computer gave an installation process is corrupt screen. I do not know what this is or how to fix it or where in my computer to look for the corruption thanks for the help

can u give more info about your computer? os ram sp if its updated, what protection do u have antivirus antispyware antiadware.

ok im going to give you a link to some programs i want you to download spybot
ccleaner
adaware
windows defender
ewido
update them and run the scans in safe mode with the system restore off.

oh i almost for got on the ccleaner click the issues tab and run that scan too. backup when it asks you to.
and just fix the errors.

Okay, I download those programs you suggested and ran in safe mode and I had to fix some errors and remove alot of cookies after I did that I tried to run visio again and recieved can not continue with setup due to installation source being corrupt error box again, any thing else I can do? by the way I really do appericate the help thanks

Is that a real Microsoft CD? They are very shiny and say MICROSOFT all over them.

itecgirl..... There are several things which could be happening .......
One is that if your O/S can't pass the WGA test the "visio" app might fail when installing or the copy you are using is in fact corrupt .......
See if you can D/l the trial version of visio from ......
