Don't know from personal experience but I found this download site which may have what you need: iso viewer free at Free Downloads Center (http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Best/iso-viewer-free.html)

I found a cool little program that actually emulate a cd-rom drive on your computer and runs the iso. in my computer it looks as if you have another cd-rom drive... http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/Virtual-CD-DVD-Rom/Virtual-CDROM-Control-Panel.shtml I googled the link for you (how sweet)  you will have to read the readme file it takes some manual instalation very simple though... dont know if this is what you need though...

Still not sure if your trying to open it on a computer or use it as an iso... I use a program called Universal Extractor. It does everything some of the time... its for extracting install files so you dont have to install them but doesnt allways work. However i did find out it etracts .iso probably .img and has never failed me yet... plus it extracts all zip, 7zip, .sys ... very simple to use I just drag the file I want to open to the archive to extract and the default folder is usualy perfect for me... http://www.legroom.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Open_Source&file=index&page=software&app=uniextract

No need to install unless you want to theres 3 different downloads

(I should get benie points for googleing stuff like this...)

Well it does just about anything as far as extracting different files. the only time it hasn't worked for me is for some install files. more than it works on. it allways works on windows installer programs or something. but iso 7zip rar anything else it works great it is an extractor so it no help for compressing the files back...
