Title: CD Drive opens and closes

My CD drive will start to open and close all by itself. I am not pushing any buttons of anything. After awhile of ejecting the computer locks up and I cant do anything.
Please help.

Scan for viruses/trojans and spyware.

Do %100 what raptor suggested, that's the most likely culprit. Tons of trojans out their to cause that problem, so don't worry about the ghost. Better worry about the virus instead ;).

I played a joke like this on my brother before, cause i had access to his computer, ahh man good times.

How can I overcome my CD-ROM Open & close with press any key & when the CD put in drive after 30 sec. automatically eject the CD. Please give us solution.

Scan real good you probaly have a virus, does your cd-rom play any cd's at all?
