Hey!Imagine us bumping into each other again.

Slowly move your mouse pointer over the curved area of buttons at the top right of below website.

Make sure your sound is on. :-? ;D

It has been going on for about three months.  I don't remember doing anything.  I very seldom use my desktop. Unless my wife did something.  And I know she wouldn't remeber.  I tried the right click on start.  Then click on properties, then classic, reboot the back to start.  And nothing happen.  :'(

Not sure if this will work but its worth a try if you have you XP disk.... Put in the disk bott to it and do a windows repair... Repair doesn't delete any files... correct me if I'm wrong some1.... Or try to restore to the last place you know it was working...

Note: The system repair function will remove any updates you have previously installed that are not included on the CD. Drivers will also be reverted to their original XP versions, as well as some settings (network & performance settings may sometimes be reset to their defaults). It may be necessary to reactivate your Windows XP as well. When finished, you will have to download all of the updates from Microsoft Windows Update, because they are all replaced during repair.

OK I wasn't sure what all it consisted of, But the updates are easier to replace than some of your work... Still easier and alot quicker than clean install and you would still have the updates and any drivers to reload...

If there is some program, virus, ect. causing this, Repair might not help as it only replaces XP system files... This happend to me before... (the only time i got virus, A trojan I think.)

This has been happening quite frequently lately...i understand that people want to help and contribute but we don't exactly want to be sending them down the wrong path.
If it involves your area of expertise feel free to jump in.

A good example would be networking...although i'm very capable in that area there are others here who are more accomplished such as Rob and i normally defer to him unless it's something simple that has been overlooked.

Another example is Dell's we all know who that expert here is...GX1_Man.

So think before you post.

Technically it (the "tab") would be called a folder but whatever suites you. Right click start then explore. Click on the program folder. You will see some of the programs but some are in the "explore all users" button. Your programs should be in either of those options. The folder is called "Programs" in either case. If its not there then it must've gotten deleted or something somehow.  :-?
