Over the past few days I've noticed my computer slowing down in its usual processes. I finally checked the Task Manager on this and found that my AIM was listed at over 100,000 in Memory Usage. I figured this was just because it had been on for a while, so I exited and shut the computer down for a while. But now, everytime I have AIM running, it's just eating up all sorts of Memory. I've run all the normal Ad-Aware, CCleaner, Ewido type programs. Any idea why this would be happening? I'm using an AMD Athlon Xp 2400+ with 2 GHz and 512 MB RAM.

Have you tried uninstalling Aim and reinstalling it?
Why are you not using an anti-virus solution?
