I have a desktop which is directly connected to my printer.
Desktop also hard wired to LinkSys wireless broadband modem.
Laptop is conneced by wireless connection to broadband modem.
I want to be able to send print jobs to desktop from laptop, so they can be routed to the printer.
I am not sure how to do this.
Dell desktop and laptop. LinkSys wireless.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Rozzie

Need...more...info...gasp :P
Assuming (and we all know what that means ;D) that you're running XP just share the printer on the desktop / open Printers and faxes on the laptop / Add a printer / do a network search (can the 2 computers already communicate?) point it to the desktop / double-click the desktop / add the printer.

The two computers do not communicate.
The printer is connected to the desktop.
desktop connected to wireless
laptop connected to wireless by wireless connection
need to establish communication between desktop and wireless
once done, believe I can then share printer :-?

wireless is a LinkSys broadband - so laptop can get into internet :(

stated wrong thing
correction, need to establish commuincation between desktop and laptop

Share the printer on one PC and install it as a network printer on the other.
Be certain to enable file and printer sharing.
Voila; you're done.

just like do the connection wizard and make a disc....or just right click the printer and hit share
vice versa with files
