Just wanted to post a pole.. who and what operating system are using and if they like it or not..
-
I guess any Linux goes into Other, so I voted for that.
-
What if I have only Windows 3.1?
-
I use Windows 3.0, 3.1 (Note: I just got both upgraded to 95 a few days ago), 95, 98, ME (sometimes, when I upgrade my 98), 2000 (at at school), XP Home, XP Pro, Mac OS 9, Vector Linux, Microsoft Bob (RARELY)
My favorites would be XP
-
I noticed the poll asks which OS you use and if you like it... how are we supposed to specifiy if we like it?
Microsoft Bob? Ew..
-
I use XP but, Win98SE was the best ever for it's time.
I still think a good old 3.5 floppy drive and PS/2
Keyboard and mouse can save your *censored* when all
else fails.
How great to sell a computer that only has USB
Keyboard and mouse, no floppy drive, and a
hidden partition on the same drive in case the
drive fails. :-?
I forgot then they don't give you an install disk. ;D
SNAP!
-
I use Windows 98se and Windows XP HE. I like them BOTH ! lol
I also have Windows ME on a laptop..... me no like it too much.... keeps crashing with odd errors

Seems to be the reason so many people say"I hate ME". :-? ;D

XP Pro
I like it, but it is prone to odd failures now and again
First thing I did was disable pretty much all the eye candy so it looks like Win2k, I hate all that useless stuff (who really needs a green start button? And a blue taskbar?)
I also like Win2k, but any earlier Windows than that hold many bad memories for me
Never tried any other operating systems although I'm thinking about making the switch to Linux soon when I've got some time
-
I use a dual-boot system: XP Pro and Vista Ultimate.
I actually like Vista: might buy it when it becomes available!
-
You know, honestly, I like how Microsoft Windows 3.1, and 3.11 deals with crashes.
Just press ALT+CTRL+DEL when something in front of you freezes, and press enter to end the defunct app, and all will be better within 25 seconds.
-
My testbench machine has 5 OS's on it.
Everyday machine runs Win2K/XP Pro dual boot.
-
My laptop's running XP Home.
One desktop's running 2000 and the other 98.
We used to run Ubuntu Linux on one of the desktops but for a family it just doesn't work well. ("Why does xyz not work on this thing?")
-
I forgot to mention...
Oh Joy Joy Joy......another Poll.
-

Which virus or spyware did not function as it should on Windows? Oh yes, all of them. ;)
-
Windows 2000 or 2000 Pro
There's only one Windows 2000, it's the one the professionals use. ;)
-
And obviously he doesn't use either. ;)
-
Why not provide a little more options for things not microsoft?
-
