Title: alarm sound from CPU
Post by: Judi Mendenhall on September 29, 2004, 01:54:13 PM
After my computer has been on for about 12 minutes, a constant alarm sound comes out of the Cpu and continues to do so until the computer is turned off.  Any idea what may be causing this?

Your CPU may be overheating. What are your CPU temperatures? Have you installed a properly working CPU cooler?
