Title: AGGGHHHHHHHH
Post by: amazonsamurai on January 03, 2007, 03:13:46 PM
 :-?
I am so lost

I downloaded Act of War: High Treason from the Direct2Drive.com website.
and i played it once.
Next day i turned on my PC, tried to run the game, and it simply darkens my screen, and then pops me back to Desktop. [smiley=undecided.gif]

so yeah
Did EVERYTHING on the Atari tech Support website, im a pretty smartPC user, yet this one has me stumped, reinstalled and installed multiple times, im waiting for help, if nobody can
help me with this, the only option for me is to download a pirated copy through Bit torrent... :-X

ok

Thx in advance

LT

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?
Did the game work OK when you played it the first time?
I know you said it worked, but did it work well, or what?

well.i uptated it twice, it worked the first time perfectly, and know i found another weird twist in this retarted problem.

it works well once after i restart, after that, the only way to play the game is to restart my PC... :-/

sigh, this is so confusing.
TY for help in advance..
