Title: Only two domains fail to send
Post by: tpolcha on January 06, 2007, 11:01:34 AM
I (valp.net) have NO trouble e-mailing anyone but compro.net.  Compro.net has NO problem emailing anyone but valp.net.  It is always inconsistent with typically the first tranaction of the day successfully transmitting and every subsequent attempt fails.  I 90% of the time have my mail refused and returned undeliverable.  Compro.net typically has little problem mailing me. The undeliverable mail notice usually comes back as "Host Unknown".  This is when we have been successfully writting eachother for almost two years.  Later on in the notice the text always has reference's to Command and Spam Header tests failing.  Even thou the first mail was properly received.  My ISP say's the fault is compro.net.  Compro.net is my brothers work domain so I can't challenge them.  Declude is the filter that tests my mail my ISP uses.  They can't answer my problem.  I am the only one within the valp.net subscribers population that has any reason to contact compro.net.  Does anyone have any direction for me or just give it up?

An extract from the error logs or the headers and body of any returned email would be really helpful in diagnosing this.

You're being spam-filtered on the first attempt of the day:

Quote
X-RBL-Warning: CMDSPACE: Space found in RCPT TO: command . [1-22-b000]
X-RBL-Warning: SPAMHEADERS: This E-mail has headers consistent with spam [4000080e]. [1-31-f800]
X-RBL-Warning: WEIGHT10: Weight of 11 reaches or exceeds the limit of 10. [1-32-10000]
X-Declude-Sender: [email protected] [204.49.180.23]

The admins responsible for the spam filtering at the recipient end should be able to provide more insight.

I don't know anything about US law, I'm afraid.
