Title: no network icons in the network folder
Post by: taffy on January 07, 2007, 02:58:15 AM
I have a new computer, first one. I started it up and windows XP home came up. When I tried to install the modem for broadband, I found that there were no icons in the network folder. I have checked that the lan is enabled in the bios, and I have installed the drivers from the motherboard CD. Does this mean my new board is faulty, or can I do something else. I only have e-mail contact with the firm i bought it from, and they are not answering???

Your issue is being addressed in the other area. No need for double posting as it confuses everyone. Thanks.
