Title: problem with ifshlp.sys in winME
Post by: cannotcompute on January 09, 2007, 01:47:15 AM
I aquired a windows ME laptop that has an error.  When you try to boot to windows it says windows cannot find the helper driver ifshlp.sys.  I do not have a windows ME disk so I found another copy of the file and restored it from there.  I tried booting again and I got the same error.  I am at my wit's end and would appreciate any help.

Download the below file and use it to make a bootdisk.

http://spock.uccs.edu/pub/bootdisks/bootme.exe

Then go to the below site.
