Title: svchost.exe eats literally my CPU at start up time
Post by: Carl_Padrez on January 16, 2007, 09:38:54 AM
It takes something between 87 and 97%, and my start up time is about 4 minutes. Any solution to reduce this time?

Post a screenshot or a list of the processes running at startup...

Post your OS as well

In the listed order try dis-abling the following startup items temporarily:
2,5,6,7,8,9.....17, 21,22 and 24.

This will not remove them just dis-able them

See if this improves things...

Afterwards if it does then turn them on 1 at a time til you find the culprit.
