Title: Which RAM should I use?
Post by: joe_chonk on October 14, 2004, 12:00:00 PM
I have a motherboard that accepts both DDR and SD RAM.  I have 2X256MB 2100 DDR RAM and i have 2X512MB 133 SD RAM.  I have a pentium 4 2.4ghz processor running 533 i think.  I mostly use my computer for internet, dont really play games.  Which ram should i use?

You can use either the 512MB of DDR or 1GB of SDRAM, but not both?  You have 2 slots?

That's PC133 SDRAM?  Sell it, it's not manufactured anymore and is priced higher than newer DDR RAM.

DDR RAM is faster, you probably won't notice the difference, whatever you use.

I have four slots, two for DDR and two for SDRAM.  I can not use both types at the same time.

Yes PC133 SDRAM.  Where would i be able to sell it?
