What sort of games do you play?
And what's your budget?
And what PSU do you have? Power is important.

i first need to get off my problem that i have posted earlier.. thats my system starts beeping and it never goes fine and the next is like geeting a blue screen and that has driven me crazy. i like games like POP3.. SIMS... GTA... role playing all games.. and All those race and sports.. huh.. i play all games that makes me feel its hard to finish...
suggest me na.... my idea is to sell my old things.. for new faster and good graphics... a mid range.. system.. a total budget for
Processor
Motherboard
Graphics card
can be between 200$ - 300$

Processor: P4 3.2 Ghz. GREAT Value for the price, no need to go Dual Core when these already do all that is needed.

Motherboard: Asus P5N-E SLI. Nice, Cheap, SLI Board. Though it's nortorious for being very picky with its memory.

Graphics card: GeForce 7600GT. Very fast card for the money. (Plays BF2/2142, etc. on full settings!) These boards are able to handle pretty much anything right now. You may even want to buy two for SLI! ;)

Btw, you wont be able to run it on 256mb of course :)

Nice build you propose there Eredell.
A RAM upgrade will be necessary to take advantage of this as you said, I'd say 1Gb would be sensible.

almost a mini to play most games now at lil or no lag

Yeah, more than likely your gonna have to buy a new PSU along with everything else.
-

Power Supply Unit.
It supplies all the power to your system.
