I've been searching for Microsoft Windows free solitaire games to install but can't find them anywhere. I once installed from Windows updates a few years ago but no luck now. Have Windows 98 2nd Edition. I can't find anything in Add/Remove programs and the cd had nothing. Where can I get these games without having to purchase them. I really want free cell.
Thanks,
Marianne

Try looking in the C:\Windows folder. It's a while since I ran 98se but seem to remember there were lots of .exe files with corresponding .txt files tucked away in there
Good luck

This happened to me twice when I installed Windows 98SE. I just did a partial re-install. I just selected that portion I wanted to install, in this case "games". Just put your disk in as if you're doing a new install, select the games and install. Should work.
