xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :o

ok, when i go to display properties> settings
i move the slider from 1024 X 768   to any other resolution that is bigger and i click apply

the screen goes black for an instant liek it should
but everyhting is the same size except the background is stretched and bigger, but then part of the screen is cut off
so then i have to put the mouse to the left/top/bottom/right of the screen so it would scroll to the part that is not visible

all i want is the sceen resolution to be bigger because everything seems to big...

If you decrease the numbers (say to 800 x 600) everything WILL be larger, requiring the movement to see the whole screen as you describe. That is normal.

isnt the a way to make the screen smaller then?
800X600 is for blind people
1024X768 (now) is for almost blind people

is there a way to move it without it stretching like that?

... background is stretched and bigger, but then part of the screen is cut off

So, part of the display is pushed off the monitor screen.  Is that what you mean?  If so, have you tried using the control buttons on your monitor to adjust your screen?

What graphics adapter and how much memory. That 1024 x 768 may be as high as it will go. How big a monitor is this?

I've got two 17 inch and one 15 inch monitor here, all CRT s, various ages, and they all allow changing screen size from the on-screen menus activated from the buttons on the monitor.

Exactly what model monitor do you have?  Exactly what controls and settings does it have?
