Title: Monitor screen

This might seem like a weird question but when i sit at my pc, the screen appears to be waving up and down. It just started doing this.  My system is AMD Athlon 1500 Gforce MX 400 video card running XP Pro.  All the drivers were updated when XP was installed about 1 month ago.
Also my pc has a tendency to restart, either while I'm playing some game on the pc or it will restart when no one is on it.
I think it has a life of it own.  Any help appreciated

Scan for viruses, spyware and trojans.

check the events <error. log>pc maybe overheating..>graphics card..>or ramsticks..run a diagnostic program like Sisoft sandra or aida32
